I have to say I'm very happy to see the Concorde back in the sky. As a plane geek, it does my heart good to see rare birds flying.

Great news. On a side note, it'd be incredible to go to sleep in the same bed that you woke up on in London, but have had lunch in New York that day.

BA Concorde Completes Roundtrip

LONDON (AP) - A British Airways Concorde completed a round trip from London to New York Monday, the supersonic jet's first trans-Atlantic flight since service was suspended last year after a crash near Paris killed 113 people.

The Concorde landed at London's Heathrow airport on schedule at 4:10 p.m. EDT, British Airways said. One hundred passengers were aboard, all of them employed by the airline.

The flight had left Heathrow Monday morning after a short delay caused by fog and arrived at the gate at New York's Kennedy International Airport at 9:40 a.m. EDT, to the applause of passengers and ground crew.
