Doesn't help track down the people behind the anthrax terrorism, but there's a new online project that lets you use your computer to help find a cure for late-stage Anthrax. It's sponsored by Intel, Microsoft, and Oxford University and is hosted by United Devices: http://www.intel.com/cure/anthrax.htm.
