National Airlines ceases operations

On the radio, they said flat out no refunds no nothin' for anybody. Just pull the plug, lock the door, and watch the employees try to make off with anything not bolted down :)

I believe that other US carriers have an obligation to honor tickets issued before their annoucement on a standby basis with a reasonable administrative fee.

I did hear on the news that America West and Frontier were the only airlines willing to accept National tickets for standby with a service fee. All other airlines were turning them down.
