| Violence in Thailand?
How is Thailand today after the violence and protest? Any development after the issue?

Are the political differences settled - I don't think so. But tourists were never the targets of these political protests. Unless you put yourself right on the front line or get nosy and up close you should be safe should another similar situation come up again. I was there during the protests and will be back in a few weeks. I was also there during the Yellow Shirt demonstrations too. I am not too bothered by Thai politics, they don't last that long anyway. It is not like you are going to Kabul or Baghdad! One benefit when tourism is off in Thailand - hotel prices are a little better for visitors! Have fun in Thailand. | |
