$21 million for a ticket? Sure!

Apparently his AMEX wouldn't let him buy it. :) |

That’s sounds about right that someone, with the last name Baker, would be willing to try to buy a ticket because of a system glitch for 21 million with his AmEx.

The fare is still available on their web site! I was quoted $21,469,523.35 for JFK-CDG-HAM; MUC-JFK.
Pretty lame. It's a 21-day advance purchase restricted fare, too. |

For that price...
You could buy your own Boeing BizJet (aka 757), hire a crew, fly round trip, come home, cut the plane up into scrap, recycle the scrap into coke cans, buy the coke, pour it out, and still be money ahead.
