Weird day: Got laid off...and offered the same job after 10.

After words of encouragement, my proj manager wanted me to call the Senior Manager when I return to the hotel room....called him and was put on a conference call with him and my proj manager... Then the words came, due to workforce reduction etc etc...i am no longer employed by them...i was quiet mad when i heard it and asked straight up if this has anything to do with the unhappiness of the current customer which they immediately denied. Senior Manager told me that everything will be clear when i get a call within the hour....well it was not even after 10 mins a gentleman called me and asked me to work for him. i will be doing the samthing except under a new company, Former company is outsourcing everything out....

What a day.... i have never been laid off before....and eventhough i was offered a job right away....it felt really really strange and of course angry....

nugget ,yes it is very surreal. and according to the new company i could even see a pay raise.... I am even thinking of getting back to my old company....oh well we'll se what happens.
