American Express site down

So my card is no longer listed for some reason, and when I hit register another card this is what came up:

We're sorry, your Card could not be registered.



We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please wait 15 minutes and then retry your registration request. If the problem persists, please call customer service at 800-AXP-1234 for further assistance.

It has been like that for me for the past couple hours.

This is not the American Express that I've come to know and love.
