bad responses when requesting mileage credit

I have tried several times, via web and via emails, to request mileage credits for flights I made on AA. I typically get an automated response that my request was received and then another email that says that credit has been made and should appear anon.... Don't know if they mean manana, but months and months later I still have zilch!
regards

Petr

P.S. I do not know why this comes under "checked baggage".
Because I write from Czech Repulic?

Good for you. But I entered all the details incl the ticket #, and several times I got a reply "confirming" that my miles are posted (not so)

Do I need the follow up by INTERCONTINENTAL telephone calls?

I had no such trouble with Continental. They seem to live in an electronic age. Does AA?
