I'm flying down to Miami on June 27. I'm flying American. I just had a question. Will I need a special adapter to listen to the on-board music? The 757 has 40 something hours of music on a hard drive. I don't want to have to use the El-Cheapos they give you; I'm using my Awia Noise Cancelers.

I dont know about AA, but UA uses standard 1/8th inch mini jacks, HP gives you nothing (at least on their CRJ's), and CO is lame and gives you a funny two prong connector so you have to buy a $5 adapter. Usually the programming is terrible (on non-international flights), so I end up listening to music from my laptop or I'll watch a DVD. And coach needs some power plugs! Even with 6 hours of battery life, sometimes my laptop won't make the whole trip unless I can plug it in at an airport during a layover. |
