Hong Kong Cathay Pacific Wins Codeshare Approval With American

Code sharing allows Cathay to sell seats on some services offered in the U.S. by American, its alliance partner, as its own and get a share of ticket revenue.

Cathay will be able to market flights to 20 U.S. destinations initially as its own, and another five flights in the next couple of years.
