CO not taking Vanguard seriously?

Has anyone else noticed that Continental doesn't seem to be taking Vanguard seriously and matching fares? I frequently take advantage of the fact that CO matches WN fares. However, since WN doesn't service ATL, I've been hoping that that they'll offer a competitive fare, but it hasn't happened.

Right now, Vangard is offering $198 AUS-ATL RT for travel Thursday - Monday ($158 for Tuesday/Thursday). Continental's lowest fare is $251. (Granted, these are all pretty deeply discounted right now, but the fare difference is usually much more significant.)
