Continental Air To Resume Daily Flights To Tokyo/Narita

HOUSTON -(Dow Jones)- Continental Airlines Inc. (CAL) plans to resume daily nonstop service to Tokyo /Narita from New York /Newark, effective April 18 .

The airline said in a press release Tuesday that a flight will leave New York at 11:10 a.m. and land in Tokyo at 1:50 p.m. the following day. From Tokyo , a flight will leave at 4:20 p.m. and arrive in New York at 4 p.m. the same day.

This will be nice. I had to do some schedule gymnastics on my recent flight to NRT in order to book Continental because of missing flights on the days I would have preferred to travel. Both ways the flights were packed solid with 100% capacity BF cabins so I'm not too concerned over CO's ability to fill a week's worth of flights.
