Delta stealing Continental's ad ideas

When I lived in Houston, I worked downtown at one point. Every day, when I drove down the Pierce Elevated, I'd see the following ad:

BusinessFirst
Kickin' it CEO-style

Continental Airlines

Cute. I liked it.

A week or so ago, I'm driving down Peachtree Road NE in Atlanta. I look up and see:

BusinessElite
Fly CEO-style

Delta Airlines

What's that all about? Are they really lacking that much in the creativity department? I'm aware of how their slogans always start with "Fly," these days, but it comes off as pretty lame to have effectively the same ad as a competitor did. Especially if you take the humor out of it.

Any insight on this?

That would be even worse, in my opinion. Nobody would use an ad agency that co-mingled ideas and ad campaigns between two competitors.
