Delta Air Lines To Expand Codeshare Service In Europe, Africa, Asia With SkyTeam Partner Air France

ATLANTA, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyTeam partners Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL - news) and Air France today announced they would expand their present codeshare to include eight new destinations in Europe, Africa and Asia as well as expanding frequencies to some present destinations already served beginning November 30, 2001.
Delta said it would place its code on Air France flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport to Cotonou, Benin; N'djamena, Chad; Brazzaville, Congo; Conakry, Guinea; Mauritius, Mauritius; Lagos, Nigeria; Tunis, Tunisia; and Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam.
Delta also will place its code on additional intra-European Air France flights from Charles de Gaulle to Budapest, Hungary; Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich, Germany; Geneva, Switzerland; Toulouse, France; and Venice, Italy. Charles de Gaulle airport is the only sizeable European hub airport which can expand meaningfully in the coming years.
