The winter sale fares can be used for travel through March 14, 2002 -- during what is typically a slow leisure travel period -- but travelers have to make their plans fast since these sale fares are available only through Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002. For travel to Europe, travel must commence on or before March 14, 2002, and must be completed by March 20, 2002. Some blackout dates and other important restrictions apply; see below for details.
