United Airlines Mileage Plus Program Announces 2002 Premier Member Qualification Criteria

CHICAGO, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines (NYSE: UAL - news) today announced a special 2002 qualification criteria for United's most loyal Mileage Plus Premier members designed to address difficulties faced this year earning status.

For customers unable to meet the standard elite criteria, United has added a second way to qualify for 2002 status that recognizes past and present loyalty by combining a customer's current elite status with status earned for 2000 or 1999 through flight activity.
