PURCHASE, N.Y. (Reuters) - No. 2 U.S. soft drink maker PepsiCo Inc. said on Monday it secured a multiyear contract with UAL Corp.'s United Airlines , replacing a long-standing relationship the No. 2 U.S. airline had with Pepsi's larger rival, Coca-Cola Co. .

The deal will make Pepsi and Diet Pepsi the colas of choice served on all of United's domestic and international flights. By May 16, the Pepsi drinks will replace Coke's. Pepsi did not specify how much the contract is worth or its duration.
