CHICAGO, July 29 (UPI) -- United Airlines said it will stop issuing paper tickets within the U.S. by July 2003, and will add a $20 surcharge starting Aug. 1 if a customer asks the airline to issue a paper ticket in the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The airline said it will stop issuing paper tickets in all eligible domestic and international locations by January 2004.
