Smile My footprints at Himalayan Mountain Range!

Namaste ('Hi' in Nepali language),
I am just back from an adventurous trekking trip in Nepal!!

Would like to share with you my footprints, memories and inspirations along the entire journey.

It was a breakthrough journey in my travel life. Never believed that I could walk for more than 15km a day crossing the rivers, valleys and the mountain path. Along the journey, I have brought myself the closest to the nature. The feeling was indeed marvellous!

Have shared some photos in my little hut. Feel free to drop by please.

Hi,
Ya, I heard from my friends that Kashmir is a nice place to go for. Have you been there before? Do kindly share with me some information on that place please. I may put it as my next destination.

Cheers,

yes friend. I have been to Jammu and Kashmir once. Its a terrific destination. The famous Dal Lake in Srinagar is also a major attraction of Kashmir..Kashmir is famous for its beautiful hills, mountains, lakes, glaciers etc. This place is also a major adventure destination.

Hi guy, what did you mean by 'Its a terrific destination'? Did you have any bad experience during the trip? In fact, I did hear from my friend that Kashmir is quite unsteady politically. Is the condition really that bad?
If it is true, then it is really a big waste.

Ciao,
Kim

Friend, Actually I meant Terrific, due to its excellent landscape and other adventure destinations. As u said there is also some political instability in Kashmir. But that doesnt mean that the whole of Kashmir is instable. There are some beautiful tourist spots in Kashmir, which are free from this political hazzles. If u r planning to visit kashmir, the best thing is to hire a travel agent. Because they know the most safest destiantions worth seeing in Kashmir. There are also some Indian travel agents and website which offers informative guide on Jammu and Kashmir. U can go thru it if u r interested. Apart from Kashmir there are also nearby states which are also known for its tourism industry.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip, Saunf-kim. I'm headed to your blog now.

For anyone that's going to a questionable area it's best to talk to a travel agent. They can steer you to the safest places.

saunf kim, If u want to see the best of India, it would be better to hire a genuine travel agent. But always fix your budget before selecting one. I think that u can get details on India tour with Shubh Yatra , which offers a lot of Information on Indian tourist destinations. Any way go throuhg this and i am pretty sure that u would get a lot of Information. If u have any doubts, I can also provide some other informative sites on India.

Hi Continent,
Thanks for your comment. I am glad to know that you like the pictures. In fact, I did face some problems with the food in Himalaya. Know what, I got food poisoning and had bad time in the toilet for almost one week!!!!

After I came back from the trip, some of my friends told me that I must have taken the meat in the mountain area that cause the food poisoining. As people there rarely take meat in their daily meal, so the meat that they serve may not be fresh.

So, please take note on this when you happen to go there in the future!!!

Cheers,
Kim
