Laptop, Bring or Leave Home?

Traveling around the world for 10 months. Just can't decide on if I should bring a lightweight laptop. I would use it for movies, camera, charging my ipod and free wifi internet use. Not sure if it's worth lugging around an extra 4 pounds.

The alternative is internet cafes which are everywhere now. Any recommendations?
