For z3phYr - Just over a year ago I purchased an Olympus C700 Ultra Zoom digital camera and really enjoy working with it. I bought a small Canon - fit in the shirt pocket but the controls were to tiny for my fingers and the zoom was only 3X. The Olympus has a 10 X optical zoom which on SLR standards equates to a 38mm - 380mm zoom lens. Beyond that, you factor a 27X digital zoom, well you can gat soom real close action. Once I get enough posts to be able to post pics, I'll show you what I mean.

Guilin for photos

Guilin Yangshuo where has the reputation of having the most beautiful landscape under heaven. It is a dream place for many tourists who want to see the real natural landscape and touch the countryside life.

Hilltops pop up from nowhere like trees in the forest and they are shaped like buns, camels, fishes, saw-teeth, horses, etc. It is a city you must visit or you will miss those beautiful landscape there. Rivers flow around like green silk ribbons while the hills reveal themselves as jade hair-pins. Guilin embraces great landscapes like green hills, clear waters, pretty rocks and fantastic caves.

If you are professional photographer, or just shoot for fun, share with your friends. We can help you select good places at right time to shoot. The sunrise with cormorant fishing with lantern and bamboo raincoat and straw hat and sunset of the area is so breathtaking and take this kind of photos is a very unforgettable experience of your lifetime.

The best places for shooting in Guilin area are Li River, Rice Terraces and Cat Mountain.

Art and Graphic Design

Like you photo's. It's a wonderful field to be info.
My son went to school for animation then switch to graphic design but he is an excellant artist also. Part of his course work was with Photography and he has so many ways he can take his education on different jobs and hobbies. Best of luck to future experiences with your photography.
