I felt that it would very quickly become too cumbersone when the site begins to grow quickly. Additionally, it served as a perfect target for a e-mail harvesting web bot.

e-mail addresses are now several links deeper within the site and I've taken other measures to make the use of e-mail harvesters less effective on ITYT.
