Best place to visit!

I think that one of the best places you can visit is THAILAND!

Thailand is used to tourists of all ages, male or female! A favorite of young backpackers looking for a $5 place to stay at or a retiree looking for a home he can afford on his retirement pay! Tourism is the number one source of income for Thailand. They want happy tourists coming back year after year!

Thailand allows tourists of many countries to enter without prior visa application. Free 30 day visa on arrival for UK, Germany, U.S., Canada, Australia, NZ and other countries right at the airport.

From Thailand you can purchase discounted flights to other nearby countries. You can even travel overland to Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia real easy! Transportation in Thailand is cheap and efficient.

You can find hotel rooms in Thailand with air conditioning, cable TV, security storage, hot water and private toilet/shower starting around 400 baht. If you want to splurge of course you can find luxury hotels charging over $100 per night! Thailand works for all income levels! Besides the rural villages you would expect, Thailand also has modern malls that are as good as you can find in the U.S. and other Western countries. The malls have cater to all levels of income, fancy yuppie style stores with upscale fashion items to locally made merchandise sold by private vendors. Even modern movie theaters showing current popular releases at bargain prices! And the nightlife is something to see but just as easy to avoid if you do not care to participate!

Thailand offers a tropical paradise with summer like weather all year long, top to bottom! Something for everyone, lots of travel agents makes finding a tour real easy and cheap compared to Europe! Restaurants of all varieties serving Western and Asian specialties at decent prices. Even McDonalds, Burger Kings and KFC's are around half the price you would pay in Europe or America. And of course delicious Thai food available everywhere!

Give it a shot!

I would say after travelling to lots of diffrent places I found The Northern Territory in my own backyard australia is by far the best. I had a wondeful time the aborgional tours and outback stays were amazing, there are also alot of travel groups you can join for all age groups in Darwin and go from there to NT.

Best Place for Adventure

I went to Belize/Yucatan Mexico area years ago and had a great adventure. We went for 2 weeks and stayed several months. We were camping and just the living on the beach was an adventure. We were in a relatively isolated area only one family close by and a coast guard station nearby. We all became close and ran to the nearest small town for provisions for each other. We made our own hut on the beach and it was amazing. Kinda tame by some peoples adventure but to us a real adventure.

Everyone have his own favour place. All answers on best places to visit is subjective. You are old enough to go there where your heart say that you need to go and it will be probably the best place for you.

Good luck!

Vacations

Thanks for understanding and it was a great trip.

I guess I was thinking there was someone on a forum who said they had been in the exact same are and they did zip lines and cave swimming and all this stuff and we just lived like the swiss family robinson and loved it.

As you mentioned many types of people and adventures.
Happy travels to you!
