has anyone here studied English as a second language

Hi everyone, has anyone here studied English as a second language at all? I was just curious, as I've recently finished a course Canada studying English there and I enjoyed it very much. I'd have to say that studying a language abroad has to be one of the best ways to learn it effectively. Staying and studying over there in Canada helped me a lot and I've gained a lot of confidence when speaking and writing English. It'd be really nice if I could gain an a high enough level of the language to teach English, does anyone have any advice on furthering that goal? Also, does anyone know much about having an examen Cambridge somewhere? Do you know any good sources of information on preparing for exam of such a high level or preparation courses for them? Thanks!
