Not to sound biased or anything, but Icelandair is the best. Not only are the flights cheap, but Iceland is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, and the service is not too bad.

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on going to Iceland in 2003 for vacation. Any specific tips I should know about the airline?

Iceland
Watch the website Icelandair for specials. The airline is definitely more laid back than most U.S. carriers, so the service is usually nicer than the typical flight crew. One of the things that you should not miss in Iceland is the Blue Lagoon, which is just a wonderful place to relax. The nightlife in Reykjavik is lots of fun, with many good clubs to go to. Going towards the winter months I think could be a little strange, with that whole northern thing and there being only a couple hours of sunlight, but it still is a fun place.
icelandculture.com is also a good place for info. |
