CAPPS II 2.1

I'm a French student and i'm actually working on a report dealing with a system by the Transportation Security Administration called CAPPS II 2.1. This system tags people green, yellow or red depending on the level of dangerousness. This system is supposed to ensure passengers of maximum security. It requires would-be passengers to give additionnal information when they book a flight. It would also get its needed information from other databases, such as commercial ones. It would be, as some journalists call it, "the largest domestic surveillance system ever deployed in the USA.”

Who allowed you to log on to this site anyway? I Can't wait till they come out with the 5.0 version. That version will require all French passengers to go thru security with their the hands up.

Your time would be better spent studying the socialist expansion of your own country and why your country is in bed with the country the occupied her twice. As an American I can assure you that the riff between our two countries is huge. Two seperate times we returned your country to you and for you to have the gaul to study one of our programs? We are at war and we will be at war for maybe the rest of time. Can you grasp that?
We fight and protect our freedoms and have never put our hands up a habit you should break. Your time would be better spent going home and visiting one of our cemeteries and learning how many French lost their lives on 9/11. You asked who I thought I was .... That should now be obvious to you. I sir am an AMERICAN!

i've nothing to hide. People like you make the world a very bad place to live. Do you even know the word "tolerance"??????? I really think it's high time that you do. I'm pretty sure that you didn't even go to France and lived in that country. France, as many other countries throughout the world, are very nice places where people are so interesting. So Think a little bit to all the harm you're doing around you. LEARN THE WORLD'S MOST IMPORTANT VALUE: TOLERANCE.

I'm sorry, who ever feels that French people have no right on this site...is completly wrong. I'm a born and raised American and I love my country...but this french person is just trying to get an opinion. She's not doing any harm by getting peoples feelings on the CAPPII. You American's that are so stuck up and think you're better than everyone else, need to step back and look at the situation. Grow up a little!!!!!!!

It's certainly not very tolerant for the French Government to prohibit Muslim girls from wearing their veils in school.

To me, it looks like both our countries have a lot to learn, and it sounds like we'd all be best served by focuing on problems in our own countries before pointing fingers at others.

about the veil for muslim women. This law is against every tipe of apparent religious signs (such as a cross or so...) You also need to know that most of french people are against that law. My boyfriend, who is muslim, is against that law. I'm against. My dad who is very racist is against that law as well. We have a government right now which is very strict.

I guess I just don't belong in this group.

My background, my nationality, my sexual orientation, my religion, my political thoughts, etc., are nobody's business but my own and I don't feel any need to flaunt any of them or to condemn any other in order to have my own identity. On the other hand I bear no fear, ill will or need to attack anyone else for whatever theirs happens to be.

I suppose it’s only natural for some people to have to find something they can use to feel that they are better than somebody else. It’s just one of the freedoms we enjoy, being biased or prejudiced against others who have the audacity to be different from us in some way.

Ignorance is, after all, bliss. Enjoy the bliss.

And don’t forget to vote. Molalla asked for our help with her report.

Some of you have called yourselves american but if that is what you think one is you are far off. You have no regard for any one else or even take a second to see it from their side. America is all about tolerance and open minds. She only asked a simple question and becuase she happen to mention her nationality you blow your top at some thing you have no idea about. You dont even stop to think. You took a huge sterotype and applied it aross the board. Give her the respect she deserves. if you dont have any to say about her question leave your comments to yourself.

To the question-
Molalla, i think that this type of coding will only cause more trouble than its worth. The chance for racism and descimination is to high. There are better ways to regulate security than to flag fliers in this way.

its pretty embarassing.

as far as the question and poll, i think the new system unneccesary.

this type of program just puts more PRIVATE personal info into a computer that thousands of people can access. these kind of programs are the type that make me picture john ashcroft, sitting in his office in washington, rubbing his hands together like mr. burns on the simpsons screaming "finally!!" lol..

how's THAT for a run on sentence.
