Sometimes I think that MA and CA are different countries. Does that count as more?

To fly "to" a country implies that one is leaving another country to get to the new country.
If I fly from Chicago to Denver, I don't tell people "I flew to the US yesterday." I tell them "I flew to Denver yesterday." Denver is not a country, but a city. Anyway, my original comment was all in fun away. |
