How early do you usually plan ahead for personal travel?

Two weeks here. Pretty soon before travel, but far enough away to get a reasonable fare.

If I'm going with a group or someone else, it's usually a month before hand, though. That's more rare for me, though.

It really depends. If I'm going to visit family or friends or anyone else who has their own schedule, I try to arrange travel at least two weeks beforehand. However, if I want to go somewhere by myself I will usually wait until the last minute.
