Price diff before you fly out of your partnership/alliance?
When searching for travel, you sometimes are faced with every traveler's nightmare: your prefered carrier/alliance/partnership being more expensive for a particular trip than a competitor. At what price point will you give up the perks and mileage-earning opportunity to save money?
This survey ignores the issue of flying Airtran over Delta or something, since that's more an issue of safety and not having your life insurance cancelled or something. I voted 11-25% although I'll often reschedule travel if I'm unable to fly my preferred carrier. |

I'm much more likely to choose an alternate flight time which is less convienent for me but brings the prices closer together.

Since I want to keep my elite status and get the perks i really try to stick with CO, and NW. One of them is usually cheap or at least close to the cheapest fare offered. I guess FF programs really do work.

No decision at all.
I only fly CO, NW or KLM. They go everywhere I want to go, are no more expensive than other major carriers on the routes I fly, I earn Platinum every year, upgrades are almost 100% and upgraded trips qualify for the President's Club lounge. |

Yes, BF. And those sleeper seats in the 777 and 767 birds are better than anything I have at home.
