Sept 11, 2002

I'm all for the idea of low-profile flights. Clearly, the incompetent TSA isn't securing the airports any better than on Sept 10, 2001.

Is 9/11/2002 any more likely to be the day of a second attack? Probably not, but it's human nature to be concerned.

good question. personally, i'd be more worried about some psychopath trying to make it in the newspaper than bin laden - (the whole "copycat" thing and whatnot)... but yeah, i'd go with the low-profilers as well.

I'm actually trying to find someplace to go on 9/11 just to fly that day.

haven't figured out where yet, though.

I tried to book travel on 9/11, but it didn't work out. I likely will be home in AUS on that day.

I'm taking off on 9/15, though.

Despite what I'd have preferred, I was grounded today due to a meeting that I couldn't miss. I'm jealous of all you who managed to be in the air today.
