So I'm wondering what motivates people to travel to developing countries on vacation? If you feel like helping me out, take my brief survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=159523302894 thanks! |

Going to different countries lets you see other walks of life other than what you're accustomed to. It lets you see that your way of life is not the only way. There are other ways to do things.

Developing countries have a certain charm to them. Maybe the strength of their culture. The history of the place (especially those that were colonized). So yeah, traveling to Japan, Europe, or the US isn't the only way to go.

For me, to see and experience their culture (great food, festivals, their form of living) . And also to get to know more of their great natural resources as well as their historical places...
