9/04/03 - R James Sees AAI Continuing to Grow Market Share

Quote:
Ridgeland, MS, SEP 04, 2003 (EventX/Knobias.com via COMTEX) -- Raymond James kept AAI at Outperform (price target from $17 to $18 ) after the company's traffic grew 33% YoY in August 2003 on 19% capacity growth, resulting in a in a load factor of 77.8%. As a result, the firm increased its Q3 EPS estimate from 17c to 19c, 2004 estimate from 74c to 79c and 2005 from 90c to 93c. The firm explained that AAI is an Outperform because it's growing rapidly and is one of the more profitable airlines in the low fare airline sector; it should continue to gain market share as the major airline industry shrinks over the longer-term; and it has a strong financial commitment from Boeing to support the growth of its B717 and 737 fleet.
