AirTran led the industry for the lowest proportion of lost and mishandled baggage, while Southwest had the lowest rate of customer complaints.

ASA has ranked poorly since the U.S. Department of Transportation added it to the monthly reports last winter. In July, it also finished with the worst rate of mishandled baggage and was ninth in rate of customer complaints.
