Customer Service / Ramp Agent position

A family member of mine was recently offered a position as a customer service / ramp agent with Airtran. He is trying to decide whether or not he should accept the position and upon doing so will leave town for training for several weeks. Can anyone tell me about these positions with Airtran? Do they have high turnover? Is full time really full time with benifits as he has been told??? Any help is appreciated.

dpk99....As far as I know whatever they tell your family member should be the truth. I dont know what questions he/she might have that wouldnt be answered by the company? The turnover rate seems to have gotten better in the ramp and gate agent areas, but that also depends what city your talking about. As far as fulltime....you can expect to be working fulltime if its a busy city like ATL, LGA, MCO, ect..... Hope that helps in the decision.
