For the third consecutive year, AirTran Airways has been named "Airline of the Year" by the southeast chapter of the American Society of Travel Agents (SEASTA) at ASTA's 71st World Congress in New York in November. Commenting on the award, Atlanta travel agency owner Susan Aft recognized the competition AirTran Airways provides in the industry and specifically mentioned the "agent friendly nature" of the airline by providing a special online booking engine for agents and no caps on commissions
