HOUSTON, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL - News) tomorrow will unveil its Airport of the Future domestic check-in facilities in Terminal C at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport, replacing the traditional domestic departures ticket counter with customer-facing kiosks (eService Centers) that offer customers faster, more customer-friendly check-in.
With the project's completion, and the completion in recent months of similar facilities at the carrier's hubs in New York/Newark and Cleveland, Continental is the only U.S. airline to offer fully automated check-in facilities for domestic customers at all of its U.S. hubs. Continental also offers similar facilities at Boston's Logan International, Chicago's O'Hare International and Raleigh-Durham International airports, and will offer similar check-in facilities at Baltimore/Washington International Airport later this summer.
