Changing seats after EUA

You can now change your EUAed seat assignment on new.continental.com! Finally, a web site where this can be done.

But, of course, this doesn't work within 24 hours and now all of the available seats are taken.

This could all be resolved if EUA respected preferred seat assignments. For every person like me that dislikes windows, there's got to be someone who wants to get out of that aisle seat, but since all of the seats are assigned, it's not possible.

I sort of miss the EUA glitch in mid-2001 when EUA would upgrade you, but was unable to assign a seat. :)

I have always been ably to change my seat assignments after an EUA. That's really the only reason I use E-Service On-Line.

Just did this on Wednesday. EUA came through with Windows (Again). I logged in and changed them both to Aisles.

Granted, this won't work if all of the aisle seats are gone.

We should design an ITYT system for coordinating first class seats between members on the same flight so that it can match up aisle vs window requests on flights so that we can do a conference call to CO and switch. :)
