On my RDU->IAH flight on tuesday afternoon I was informed (much to my dismay) that CO was no longer offering Sam Adams as an adult beverage offering and instead is offering Foster's (filthy dreck, imho).

Moreover, this particular flight had no Heineken although it was vague and unclear to me if the lack of Heineken was simply a stocking issue with that flight or if it was also a menu change. I suspect the former.

This is really disappointing to me, it means that all the beer offerings are similar and not all that great.

Does anyone know anything substantive on the subject?

They ought to be offering Shiner, not Foster's. Hell, CO doesn't even have service to australia!

You mean CO doesn't offer a Guinness tap at every seat in First Class? What kind of airline is this?
