In the past, domestic flights that were elite upgraded showed up as "XF" for the fare code on Onepass statements and the "recent activity." On my most recently posted flights (from last Thursday), the fare class is retained on upgraded flights instead of "F" and the "X" is added:
10/07/2002 10/03/2002 Airline CONTINENTAL 1415 XB PHOENIX-HOUSTON 1,009 1,261
PLATINUM ELITE BONUS 1,261 2,270
10/07/2002 10/03/2002 Airline CONTINENTAL 0233 XB HOUSTON-AUSTIN 500
PLATINUM ELITE BONUS 178 678
My first guess is that Continental is trying to maintain the fare code for flights that were upgraded so that people aren't getting bonuses that don't apply to their particular class of service. For example, T and Q are often excluded from bonuses but people report getting them when upgraded since the Onepass system might only be able to see "XF"
Is this a new change, or just an anomaly for this reservation?
