Well it's finally here! Continental is finally up to date with all the other airlines.
Continental.com Check-in is available between one and 12 hours prior to your scheduled departure time. You must complete the entire process with boarding passes generated at least 55 minutes prior to departure
The link for check-in instructions is: http://www.continental.com/travel/checkin.asp?SID=586077333386459D82F2FCF2E00167EB
I noted that if you have ANY bags to check, you may not use continental.com to check-in. I don't know why people can't just check bags at the curbside or check-in counter like NW.

Continental Airlines adopts Web check-in (http://news.com.com/2100-1032-991218.html?tag=fd_top)
Continental Airlines on Wednesday became the latest carrier offering online check-in for passengers traveling without checked luggage within the United States.
The No. 5 U.S. carrier, based in Houston, said the program lets passengers obtain boarding passes via Continental's Web site, bypassing airport ticket counters and ticket kiosks.
The move makes Continental the sixth U.S. airline to offer Web-based check-ins.

Well, just checked in for my flight tommorow. It was pretty easy. First they ask if you want to upgrade, you can click yes or no. Then it brings you to your seat assignments and you can change that, even to exit row seats. After you get the seats you want, you click print boarding passes and a new window opens up with your BP passes that you need to print. Thats it! I think it was better, and faster than NW's.

You can check bags with online check in now, just take them to the curbside guys. And now it is 30 hours.
With the new continental.com Check-in, you may now check in for your domestic Continental Airlines flight one to 30 hours before departure. And now, you'll earn 1,000 bonus miles* when you register (using the adjacent form) and check in online the first time through September 30, 2003.
