The founder of America West Airlines will head a start-up, low-fare carrier that will be based in Pittsburgh and aim to serve 39 markets within five years.
The new airline -- which is operating, for now, under the working name "Project Roam" -- will land in Pittsburgh at a turbulent time as local, state and federal officials negotiate with the region's dominant carrier, US Airways, over its threats to pull its hub from Pittsburgh International Airport.
Sounds like we will need to create a new forum under airlines.
