Where to go?

I will be in Erlangen in a few weeks for work. I am staying an extra 2 days (Sat & Sun, leaving Mon morning) to site see. I was considering going to Switzerland....any suggestions? I have never been anywhere in Europe, and Switzerland has always been somewhere I would like to see, even if it is just for one night. Any suggestions on how to get there, the Eurail is confusing and seems very expensive.

i think Switzerland is a must go..it is one of the most best scenic place in the world...it is once in a lifetime opportunity don't think too much about the travel expenses...just go there and enjoy...
