Newbie Traveller in need of advise

Hi Everyone

I am new to all of this forum stuff so will apologise in advance, I am also new to travelling but have bit the bullet and put my house on the market, handed in my notice at work and have decided to take a year out and see a bit of the world. I will be flying from london around 21st sep and would like to go to the following cape town, singapore, NZ (must be there for xmas) austrialia, goa and then cairo. I am looking for advise on best place to get flights, accommodation, advise on travelling alone, i have no idea where to begin so any help would be appreciated
