AMERICAN AIRLINES WILL RESTORE 41 FLIGHTS FROM DALLAS/FORT WORTH AIRPORT FORT WORTH, Texas – American Airlines today announced that it will add 41 round-trip flights from Dallas/Fort Worth airport to 37 destinations by March. These additional flights will increase frequencies in existing markets. With these new additions, the company will restore its late evening, connecting flights, which serve primarily westbound destinations as well as some short-haul cities, such as Austin and San Antonio. These increases are in response to indications that air travel is increasing. The new flights will bring good news for many American Airlines employees who were furloughed following the downturn in travel. The company recently announced it was recalling all 800 reservations representatives and 400 flight attendants. Also, in the past few weeks, hundreds of airport agents and ramp employees have been recalled |
