Despite tightened security, U.S. air travel remains vulnerable to a bomb in baggage checked onto an airplane, U.S. Rep. Sam Graves said Friday in Kansas City.
Graves said an amendment that he tacked onto an airport security bill now before Congress would help address the issue. The amendment would require all baggage to be screened by 2003.
