Houston-LA flight diverted due to unruly passenger

I cannot even begin to imagine how pissed I'd be if a flight I was on were to be delayed because of some other passenger's attitude. I can just imagine a class-action lawsuit from all the other pax for missed connections, emotional hardship, etc...

Apparently no charges were even filed against the passenger since it was determined that he did nothing to "intimidate a member of the flight crew." I heard that he was a first class passenger that requested some more peanuts before the meal service. The FA threw some peanuts at him and he disliked that and decided to throw a drink back at her.

Obviously rude, but nothing illegal.
