Jet makes troubled landing in Phoenix

PHOENIX, Ariz., Aug 28 (Reuters) - The nose gear of an America West (NYSE:AWA - News) airlines Airbus A-320 with 159 people on board collapsed when the plane landed at Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport on Wednesday night, injuring three passengers, officials said.

I've taken this flight before and for almost two years, have refused to fly HP. They're truly America's Worst.

Late Wednesday, the plane could still be seen just off the airport's north runway, its nose pointed toward the ground, its tail tipped in the air.

Talk about good advertising, huh. Get your wrecked aircraft off the field.
