I want to share with the community the photos of my trip to Jordan

To see my photo gallery click on the link below

Jordan - a set on Flickr

The place that I liked the most is the desert of Wadi Rum also known as the Valley of the Moon is a valley excavated over millennia by the flow of a river in sandy soil and granite rock of the southern Jordan and the color of sand orange and red depending on the reflections of the sun makes it even more spectacular

I want to point out the major tourist attractions

Petra archaeological site is a vast place about 250 km South of Amman near the town Wadi Musa or El Gi ; exciting at night during the Petra by Nigth illuminated by many candles and even more spectacular by day

> Petra what to visit :
- Siq ( is a natural geological fault )
- Treasury ( El Khasneh )
- Urn Tomb
- Nymphaeum
- Sanctuary Aaron
- Altar of Sacrifice
- Roman Amphitheatre
- Colonnade Street
- Byzantine Church
- Temple Dushares ( Qasr Al Bint )
- Monastery ( Al Dayr )
- Small Petra ( Al Beidha or Siq Al Barid )
- Wadi Farasa ( is a beautiful scenic trail )

> Amman what to visit :
- Roman Amphitheatre
- Jebel Al Weibdeh ( is the core of the old city of Amman )
- Mosque Abu Darwish - Mosque King Abdullah I
- Jebel Al Qala’a ( is the citadel of Amman - archaeological site of Ancient Rabbath-Ammon )
- Residence of the Duke of Mukhyber
- Rainbow Street ( is the most beautiful of Amman )
- Qasr Al Kharrana ( Castle in the Desert ) near ad Amman
- Cave of the Seven Sleepers at Ahl Al Kahf at 13 km from Amman
- Jordan Museum - Royal Automobile Museum - National Gallery of Fine Arts - Museum Darat Al Funun - Museum of Popular Traditions - National Archaeological Museum - Currency Museum of the Central Bank of Jordan - Children's Museum

> Other very interesting places :
- Archaeological site in the city of Jerash
- Mount Nebo
- Madaba ( 40 km from Amman where there are beautiful mosaics )
- Castle of Shobak or Sawbak ( is a Crusader castle site in eastern of Wadi Araba )
- Aqaba : Bab el Msir ( is the gate of Egypt in the ruins of Ayla ) - Fortress of Aqaba or Fort of Mamluks
- Dead Sea which reaches 400 meters below sea level. It is the lowest point on the planet and just because of its high salinity ( ten times saltier than normal ) you float without doing anything
