Rara Lake Trek


Rara a gorgeous and biggest lake of Nepal that lies on the remote Karnali zone in the north – west region. The area protected by the Nepal's smallest national park, Rara National Park at 106 sq. km. The area is perfect location for trekking in west Nepal. The region is made up of long ridges covered with temperate forests and alpine pastures enclosing high valleys. Summer rainfall is low, but winter snow can be heavy and persistent. Since the region is fairly high and free from monsoon thunder storms, the summer season is ideal for trekking. Winters are cold, but in the autumn season, trekking is rewarded with a profusion of alpine flowers. The area offers a lifestyle of local people with their distinctive cultures and customs gives an unique experience that makes remarkable holiday for the lifetime.
