FedEx World Hub tour in MEM

Has anyone here done the FedEx overnight sort tour in MEM? I've been wanting to do it for years and would really like to get some information about what's involved in getting a tour and any other specifics.

My understanding is that you manage your own travel to/from MEM such that you arrive late at night and depart early in the morning so that you have overnight to watch the "sort" at the FedEx world hub, which is supposed to be incredible.

It's almost hard to believe that you could see all that there is to see in just one night.

Thoughts? Experiences? Any ITYTers interested in trying to plan a group event in MEM for a tour?

Wow! I hadn't heard of this tour, but it sounds great. I'd be up for a group event to head up there. Wonder if we'd be able to see any of their aircraft up close and personal... there was a FedEx A300 at one of the Ellington Air Show a while back. Impressive.

I will have to attend the tour next time when i travel to MEM. I guess that is the only good attraction that MEM has! Sorry never was crazy about the whole city!

Count me in as well! In addition to FedEx, MEM also has plenty of good BBQ.

I used to travel Vietnam every year with my best friend.

Well, I used to travel Vietnam every year with my best friend. Now last year we had one local guide who was absolutely wonderful. He really set the tone for our Vietnamese trip and we just absolutely loved Vietnam. But sometimes the access to Vietnamese who speak good English isn't readily available, and that’s why a foreigner might come in handy. Let’s get some discussion going. Thank you so much.
